1989 2 cylinder 50hp - powerhead stuck!

Im currently wasting my life trying to restore a 1989 50HP and i am having trouble removing the power head.
I have managed to release 3 of the 8 bolts and the remaining 5 have snapped from the head.
obviously im going to struggle to get the power head off as is but does anybody have any advice or experience??
I have access to spark erroding equipment and this is my next stop if all else fails....

If you go with the spark eroding option keep us informed how it works out.
Seems the aluminum may get damaged, but I have never seen it at work before

I have seen people drill in from the side and use a drimel to cut the bolt shanks off close to the block so the power head could be removed and then work on getting the bolts out with better access for the work.
It does damage things
