Breaker tripping

I have a yamaha c40tlry 40 Hp. I recently cleaned the carburetors. Since reinstalling them something is tripping when I try to crank. If I use the power tilt it works fine until I crank the engine. The same goes for starting the engine. If I disconnect the battery then reconnect I can use the power tilt again. Any suggestion?

bad connection in the battery terminals or bad battery cable (internal)
volt meter will help tell you where it goes away at
