Outboard rigging

I have a 2017 Robalo Cayman 226 with what looks to be rigged with kit 6Y8-0E83R-91-00. Doesn’t have the black hub box like 6Y8-0E83R-71-00.
Im rigging a second older flats boat to put a new Yamaha SHO 115 on it.....was plan on purchasing the 6Y8-0E83R-91-00 kit.
What is the advantage of one rigging kit over the other? Either one would work?
Plan on using the 704 R0-00 binnacle

either will work exactly the same

the only thing the black "multihub" does, that the "inline hub" does not,
is provide "expandability" :

if, in addition to your two Yamaha gauges,
you wanted to also see engine data on your chartplotter
the multihub gives you a place to connect.

Thank you for the fast response. My current boat has a Simrad NSS12 EVO3 and I don’t use motor info on MFD. For sure not gonna go that way on a older 17’ flats boat that I’m looking to re-power. Great info. Thank you again
