so you have an expensive outboard motor, but do not want to pay for a manual so you can work on it yourself?

I get that you want a free one, but it would be best if you bought the one from Yamaha for your motor

Actually all I want is some Torque specifications for an elderly pensioner who lives down the road to help him out. So if anyone can help with a few settings he would appreciate it.

well if you would say exactly what you are looking for,
and if someone here has a manual for that motor sees your post,
they might give you that info

not everyone will have the proper service manual
I know I do not

If you look up the Yamaha part number for that manual and do some web searching,
you might find access to a page or two as a sample, but that would be a long shot

What are the fasteners?

Enough ifo to do the water pump would be nice so:
Water pump housing bolts
Lower housing bolts
Trim tab bolt
Prop nut

I might have a Euro version of that manual. I believe there were copies on the YDS software I installed on my laptop. No guarantee of a perfect match.
