Hi There.
I'm fairly new to the Forum and there seems to be a lot of great information available.
I'd like to ask for help with setting up my Kicker Motor (4 stroke Tohatsu 9.8HP) to run off the same fuel tank as my 4 stroke Yamaha F115XA.
I've read that the best way to do this is to tap into the extra out-line on my Yamaha Fuel/Water Separator.
The Tohatsu fuel line that I have seems to be the same size as my Yamaha fuel line which is 3/8 of an inch.
Seems odd that a 115 HP and a 9.8 HP use the same size fuel line.
What size brass hose barb do I require to screw into the fuel/water separator?
Am I best going with a straight connector or a 90 degree?
Do I just run the same size hose off the separator and then plumb in a new fuel line with primer bulb for the Kicker?
Going this route do I require any additional valves?
I'm concerned about sucking the fuel out of my 115 which I've heard will cause issues.
Hopefully I have included all the information needed to answer my Post.
Thanks...
