Spark plugs for 2013 Yamaha 115 4 stroke.

Having difficulty finding what plug to purchase for backup. My paper manual says nothing. The manual I downloaded says NGK LFR6A-11. Not sure how old this manual is online. Data regarding this motor I am finding online is old and I cannot be sure the results are current. My model is year 2014 I think, that is when I bought the boat new. This boat sits on a boat lift over water so getting to it to do maintenance is difficult. I will probably not pull the plugs until time for storage.

After some further checking, the motor was built 09/13 and is model F115XA. Not sure what the F and XA stand for.

When I go looking for these plugs, I see prices from $3-13/plug. Any difference in these other than the price?

Part number for your plug is in the owner's manual that came with the motor. It is in the service manual. More than likely there is a sticker on the motor that provides the part number. It is in the parts catalog as are all other part numbers.

F for fourstroke.
115 for max hp.
X for shaft length.
A for engine variant.

Thanks for the help. I did find the plug type mentioned in my manual. My manual covers 8 different motors 115(4) and 150(4). It was in there and in the 5 pages of motor specifications.

The online manual I downloaded was just for the 115 and 115A and is easier to follow. I ordered some plugs from Ebay $3.35 each.
