can you put a 1985 115 yamaha outboard powerhead on a 1997 150 yamaha ?

One is a v6 and one is a v4

need model codes to compare parts.
Apart from pan, cowling and gearbox ratio I can't imagine there would be too many differences (Assuming the power head is dressed)

1985 is old reeaalllly old.
