I just bought a 1990 ebbtide with a yamaha engine a few weeks ago and know very little about boats in general.
There are 2 LCD gauages - the one below is what I am having issues with. I noticed that this doesn't appear to work at all. When the engine is on, it flashes or displays an empty gas symbol even though it's full. I am not able to select any of the other modes or buttons. It just shows an issue with gas.
Could this mean the entire unit is bad? Or the wiring? Are these pretty universal if I needed to buy another one and have it fit in the same spot? Or am I just doing something super stupid and not know how to use this properly and it's on some "mode" already?
