  • Crank case sealant

First off I want to thank you for the advise on rebuilding my 40TLRB.My block has been checked honed and cleaned.I installed the new crankshaft with new pistons and rings back into the block. It was not difficult to do reading a prior article on this forum.I stopped at the point of putting the crank case back on because the manual does not specify what sealant to use.I want to use the proper sealant so if anyone could tell me what sealant to use and where I could get it,it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Not sure what manual you reading, but crank case sealed with Yamaha sealer.
