My 40 HP endure will not rev out. at about 3/4 throttle it sounds like a rev limiter is cutting in. It makes a na na na na na na na na na na sound. If that makes any sense. I don't know anything about rev limiters . Can it be adjusted ? Shouldn't it rev out to full throttle ? Its only pushing a 3.85 metre Stessle Edge Tracker, flat bottom, aluminium boat. Could the prop need changing to more pitch ? The recommended spark plug inside the cowl are NGK BR7HS, but I can only get NGKBR7HS-10. I believe the 10 stands for 1mm. gap. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks from downunder.
