The S/N indicates that outboard was manufactured in 2005 (doesn´t mean is year of purchase as I have a 30HP manufactured 1993 but bought it brand new mid 1995)
That outboard match with US model 2005 50TLR if you need get parts from them.
Yam model designations can be very confusing. They can't seem to make up their minds as to how the motors should be designated. They have different methodologies for Canada and the USA compared to the rest of the world, and have changed methodologies for all several times over the years.
Their latest model codes almost defy belief. In the past, a letter in a certain position meant something. Now, a letter not being used means something.
