Installing an ACR-charging amps

I am getting ready to install an ACR on my boat. The motor is a 1996 Yamaha 225 SWS II. I have read that later model 225s have a charging amp of 35 amps. Does anybody know what the charging amps for this motor are?

Maximum output of the generator at 5500 RPM is 35 amps. Some of this current is needed by the motor. Output available to recharge a battery or two is approximately 25 amps or so, at best.

Less of course at low RPM.
