I currently have a 1990 60hp Evinrude 2 stroke and just purchased a used 2014 YamahaT50LB yesterday. I would prefer not to take it to the dealership, but not sure everything I need to do to get it on my boat. Controls, cables, getting my old gauges to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Made the switch. Got all electric and everything working. Now I have prop questions. I have a 17' aluminum dual console sea nymph and I believe the motor has a pontoon prop on it. Any ideas what I should be looking for? It's a T50LB Outboard. Took if for a test run today and seems a bit slow and not moving very fast for the rpm I'm turning

I believe T motors are geared different than regular motors
