I'm in the process of doing a partial rebuild on 2, 2002, f-225s. std, and counter rotating.
I'm changing the seals in/on the prop shaft housing.
the standard motor was easy.
On the counter rotating motor, how much preload or torque is applied to the threaded ring that holds the tapered bearing in place? Note, i hurt the shaft housing and had to purchase a new one thats why i removed the bearing
thanks
