Struggling with search function

Fuel senders have been a common topic over the past few years. Starting searching and came up with way too many non-related hits.

just trying to get the range of resistance for the damn standard tank sensor.

Just to confirm....
If all else is functioning correctly, the pink and black touching would cause the guage to read full.

correct - if you "short to ground" the sender "S" terminal, the gauge should read full scale
