25DE 1979 carb unmounting

Hi.
Bougt old yamaha 25 hp with electric starter, It was running last summer. and needs to be cleaned, So i ask if anyone have taken carb out for cleaning, Do i have take Electric starter off before i can open carbs left bolt. Do i need special tool for that. To remowe start motor isnt easy job to do.

If the starter is in the way of the carberator mounting bolts, I suspect it has to come off..

You shouldn't need any special tools (short of metric wrenches, sockets, etc).
