2006 90 HP 4-Stroke acting strange

My Yamaha has started acting up with an intermittent problem. It will die and when you try to start it it will fire and die. It had fuel but no pressure out of the valve on the VST so I replaced the electric fuel pump. It is doing the same thing. I can start it with the throttle lever and let it run at about 1500 rpm for awhile and that will clear it up until it does it again. Any thoughts and why do I not have pressure from the valve on the VST?

I have people reading this, but no answers. Do I need to add something that may help?
