Fairdeal, do you have a clamp on ammeter? I suspect that you do. Maybe more than one.

Have you ever tested the AC output current from your lighting coils at various engine RPM's?

have the meters - and have thought about the testing
just have been to lazy to extend the wiring
so as to make it accessible with the airbox still in place.

Would like to get to it one day.
