Recently bought a 21 contender with a 1997 0X66. During the demo ride the seller tells me the engine "doesn't like 3700 RPMs for some reason". I've had the boat for a month and it runs great but it definitely doesn't like that RPM area. The engine makes a slightly louder winding sound at 3700 but either side of it there's no issue. I don't feel any loss of power but notice a very slight vibration. I was thinking maybe this was a prop issue? Any thoughts?
