Hello I am new to the forum and new to Yamaha outboard ownership. I recently purchased a 17 ' center console boat with a 90 hp # 90ETLG serial # 465761. Outboard runs well but the instrument gauges have issues. The gauges are two main gauges, one being speedometer/fuel/hours the other being tach/trim/? . The speedometer gauge does not seem to work at all, I hit the " mode " button and nothing happens. The tach works but the LCD is very difficult to read ( faded ) . Is there a way to troubleshoot/repair these or is it best to just replace ? All OEM wiring is in place has not been hacked up. Where would you recommend to purchase ? Any advice is appreciated.

There is no known internal repair for the Yamaha LCD multi-function gauges. Best to simply remove and replace. Ebay seems to be the cheapest place to find used/surplus gauges.
Or, you can buy brand new gauges from this website:
