2005 F115TXRD VST Filter

Hey Guys I have an odd question regarding the VST filter - The other day I was taking the VST off to clean and noticed that the VST filter was lying in the bottom of the bowl once i removed the cover - Is this part simply pressed on with nothing other than friction holding it in place? Thank you in advance for any help

It is held down by the pump.

you should have a filter and a plastic cover.
hold the VST upside down and lower the tank to the vst cover.
