225TXRP (1991) still confused on which tach kit

Hello,

Just about got our restoration of a 1988 Wellcraft V20 done...the newer digital tach is in the budget so we are getting ready to buy.

We are looking at this kit: Yamaha Tach Rigging Kit

Everywhere on the internets it says this rigging kit will work with the 2004 and older but when you look at the description details it swys 1996-2004...thus our 1991 (225TXRP) is excluded...or is this incorrect?

Seeing lots of conflicting info.

Is there another kit I should be looking at?
Or will this kit work with yet another wire that it doesn't contain?
