My 2004 F60 Carburated engine was running fine,
next day on start up it made a fairly loud ticking noise and
ran rough.
Crankcase oil smelled like gas, very black and thin.
Changed oil and ticking stopped however it continued to run rough.
I checked the stream and it ran cold after 10 mins on the muff's.
Question, could a stuck open T-stat cause these symptoms ?
