Help!! 08 F250 engine runs erratically

*****ed around @ 1800 RPM all day,, no problems.. went to run home and engine would not rev up to cruising RPM. Idled very rough for a awhile (10 mins.), almost seemed like it might rev up and then died, nada. Turned key off for about 10 secs, then restarted and engine ran fine.

Got me baffled.. and ideas/help would be appreciated...

Fuel pump

Hi it sounds like you could have a failing fuel pump so you need to test the high pressure fuel pump pressure first as those symptoms are exactly what happened to mine.
