1998 9.9 help

Hey guys , one of my spark plugs broke off so i tried to use an easy out to get it out and the easy out broke off in the hole so i need to pull the head.

i want to remove the lower cowl but it seems very hard to do? the bolts dont really have much room, is there a easier way? are there any online manuals i can refer to?

also while im in there is there anything i should check/do?

easiest way is to simply remove the head.
and from there do some regular maint.
