200hp VMAX fuel issues

Having issues keeping motor running and have traced it to a fuel issue. If I pump primer ball engine will start but will eventually starve itself of fuel. If I prime again starts right up but then dies again.

Primer ball is not collapsed when this happens like it is not vented. Was going to start with fuel filter, any other suggestions or areas to test?

then you have an air leak or bad pumps between the engine lift pumps and the liquid level in the tank.
