Yamaha 9.9 four stroke w/703 remote control will not rev up.
My 9.9 will not rev up. Idles fine, good water flow, but as soon as I try the fast idle lever it bogs down and vibrates (rock & roll) -- disconnecting the wiring quick connect cable -- everything works just fine.
I would appreciate any help on this -- so far I have spent a few days on this.
Could this be a faulty ignition switch harness? The key switch acts normal.
I did have the carburetor cleaned, fresh gas, batteries up to charge ...etc..
