At the beginning of winter I went to empty my float bowls of fuel as part of my winterizing procedure, and I noticed the threads in my float bowl for the carb drain screw, were stripped. The motor is a 2005 25hp 2 stroke and it is the top carb. Before I order a new float bowl assembly for $50, is there any way I can fix this bowl. I read about a product made by Loctite that fills in the threads, but it gets mixed reviews. Anybody have experience in fixing this, or did you just buy a new float bowl? Thanks
