Need your experience here.

It has been reported that if the ignition system override wires on the SX250 CDI are disconnected then the fuel pump runs continuously with the key on. Motor not running.

Have you come across this before? Nothing about it in the owner's manual, the service manual, training manuals or anything else I have access to.

I am not doubting it. Just wondering if you were aware of it. I continue to learn.

dunno, never had an occasion to bypass the ECU.
what you will get is a fixed base ign timing a high idle and top speed cannot be reached.
