Yeah. The boat sunk and my outboard along with it. I took out the plugs and sprayed WD 40 into the cylinders and pulled the cord repeatably. I took off the carb, dismantled and hosed it down as well. Shot WD 40 through the reed valves. Also did the fly wheel and a general hose down of the exterior and the electrics. With new fuel and plugs and a 24 hour dry-out, the engine started and runs well. Am I okay here? Will electrics begin to corrode in a day or two? Should I replace any parts at this point to avoid problems in the future?
Thanks all,
