Do you know the point at which cooling water gets introduced into the exhaust section?

It comes out of the lower unit at the propeller shaft area, the lower is sealed to the mid-section, so where does it enter into the exhaust in the mid-section?

through passages between the oil pan and muffler assy also through passages around the mufflers lower plate.
this helps keep the oil pan and exhaust tube cool.
