Hi Folks,
First time posting here and after searching for a while I wasn't able to find any info on my problem. Water in the oil.
Motor was running fine and then had the lower collar of the shifting rod break. Pulled the powerhead, replaced the shifting rod and cylinder gasket. While powerhead was off I noticed a little bit of milky oil but didn't think to much about it.
Since that time motor has had power problems. Motor seems to bog down when getting up on plane and will not go WOT bc it just bogs down. Lower the rpms and it runs like a top. Give it anykind of throttle and she bogs down under load. Runs fine in neutral and does not bog down.
Now I find water in my oil and have drained it. Going to put some 10w40 in it in the morning and take it back to the river. I'm a commercial fisherman and can't have this darn thing down for to long.
So any help on where to look would be much appreciated.
