Issues with installing 140hp Yamaha
Hello everyone,
I have a problem that I hope might be able to be fixed through this thread, I have just placed a 1995 140 Yamaha on my boat and am getting power from the tilt switch on the side of the outboard but no power to the digital gauges or from the remote control box, the main wiring loom from the control box to the motor connect fine and I have had to play around with the wiring to the gauges but I have stopped now as I cannot work out what should work as there is no power getting to it. I tried checking the emergency oil top up pump as well which does not do anything either.
I am wondering if there is a fuse somewhere that I am missing, i have checked the 20 and 30 amp main fuses which are all fine and there are a series of small fuses to the gauges which are fine there is just no power getting anywhere other than the one tilt trim switch.
Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.
