Yamaha 150 break-in oil change

Hello,
I'm just breaking in a pair of 2006 150 four strokes and noticed the manual says just change the oil at 10 hours and not the filter. Filters are only $10 so why not change it?

That is what the manual states but I always give the owner the choice of filter change at 10 hour service I do recommend it.
