F90 floods/fouls spark plugs
My 2005 F90 has a strange problem. When the engine sits for a few days, it starts, no problem. Continues to run great. If I shut it off and try and restart, sometimes it just won't start. I pulled the plugs, totally wet w/ gas. I put in a new set, started first crank. Then it did the same thing. Plugs were fouled. I've done the following: Checked ignition/spark: Good. Fuel pressure: Good. I pulled the injectors, and they were a little dirty. I sent them to Brucato for servicing. I'm thinking maybe the throttle position sensor is the problem, and it's causing the ECM to dump more fuel into the cylinders for some reason. This is on a twin engine boat, and other engine has no problem. This happened all of a sudden. Any suggestions???? Thanks
