Tach gauge

My tach gauge last week appeared to be getting very hard to read.
Yesterday the gauge is almost unreadable. Its not just the RPM it's the oil level , trim indicator. Do you guys think the gauge is cooked.

Is it because the screen is glazed over or because the lcd's have faded?

The former can be fixed. The latter, no.
