I have a 1988 Yamaha 150 Pro V, Took out to lake, great hole shot, good idle, run about a mile starts running rough, shut down to idle, get on plane again and it will only run around 4500 rpm's, get to fishing spot and shut it off, 1 hour later fire it up idle's ok, try to get on plane and it will not get more than 2500 rpm's. Replaced fuel filters and water seperator, replaced tank to motor connector(bad o-ring). Take it out and exact same thing happens, lots of smoke at idle and smells really rich.
