Please help!! 1990 40esd

No one on this planet is as excited as me to be a first time boat owner. The only problem is the motor runs perfect at idle and runs perfect for about two hundred yards then bogs down almost like a miss. After a few minutes it will run good again.

The problem is not in the fuel system (carbs cleaned, lines checked, pump checked) I have been told the problem in is the oiler. I want to get the oil block out kit but not sure which one to get for a 40esd? Anyone know anything about this? Thanks

"run 200 yards then bog" sounds like a fuel delivery issue, restriction or a fuel tank vent problem...is your tank vent open and working?....somewhere in your fuel system you could be leaking air into the fuel line....check the O-ring on the quick-disconnect....
