2002 80hp 4 stroke overheat
My 80hp is forcing water out of the fresh water washout port while it is in its stowed position and seems to be running hot although no alarms have sounded. Have removed the thermostat which tested fine. replaced the pressure relief valve, inspected the water pump doesn`t seem to be any scale corrosion in cooling system very little salt water use. Cranks and runs fine. The fresh water washout hose end has been replaced with new screw end and washer. The water exiting the hose is warm. The pressure relief valve was the new improved version and I installed the rounded end toward the engine with the spring on the + side. Any ideas. Thanks
