L225CETO not making max RPM
I just bought a boat that was built in NZ that has a pair of L225CETOs on the back. I believe they are 1998s. New carb kits were installed on all cylinders (12), new fuel/water separator filters installed, I bypassed the engine fuel filters because of leak and installed new control cables. Full oil reservoirs and good fuel. Both engines ran great until recently. The Port engine will make about 4400 RPM and then immediately slow down to 3800RPM max. Stbd engine runs just fine and will do max RPM. I really need help on this. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
