Filling the VST after changing filter

Im going to change out my 2000 150hp OX66 LP fuel pump and vst filter due to motor bogging at 4500rpm .After installing the new parts. Do I just use the primer bulb and pump until it get hard to fill up the vst or their a way to do it ?

Yes just use primer bulb and you will be good.

Have read that some motors with electric primary pumps will not fill that way, so may need to look for Rodbolt17's posts to see which ones they were talking about and if it is something you have
