are 94-96 CDI interchangeable with 97-02 models?

the CDI on my 95 yamaha 70 hp 2 stroke failed.
on the power pack says 6H2-CU7384 (used in both 60 and 70hp)

OEM part should be 6H2-85540-03-00 replaced by 6H2-85540-B8-00 (Pull to open throttle)

however i do find a CDI off a 97 model but it reads 6H2-CU7385
OEM part number is 6H2-85540-10-00 but this time is (Push to open throttle)

they not the same ?

No they are not the same, 97 will not work on yours.
