I just renewed my CDI and Rectifier after they fried due to a loos negative battery terminal. After this very expensive mistake I checked all the wiring and found another lose lug on the starter motor and repaired that I as well.
Run the motor, tested output voltage of the rectifier at high RPM’s and it gave me 14.90volts. But did notice that the rectifier gets very hot to the touch, is this normal???
