Hi thanks for all that info I switched my battery switch to where there was no battery lol blew the cdi and the gauges and two spotlight globes amazedthe gauge fuses didnt blow but both gauges did and the loom, in Australia cdi is $600 plus gauges $600 a pair so I am well out of pocket and to make matters worse my cdi part number dosent match anything in the states mine is 67F-02
F8T35573 2x17 and has a mitsubishi emblem not yamaha lol

The biggest mistake I see daily on outboard pwrd boats is the use of deep cly batterys....you want to use cranking battery......DUH !!!
