I have a 2005 225 HPDI on a Ranger 2006 Z20. The tach on the ranger dash gauge is all over the place and never really gives a an accurate reading. I was concerned as the Tach at times would show 7000 RPM, So I had the dealer scan the motor and was showing nothing over 5300 on the scanner. What kind of tach can I add to get an accurate reading.
