F200 wont go into gear.

Hi guys

Have a brand new Cobia 217 powered by a F200 with 704 mechanical remote control.

Took the boat out for its maiden trip and couldnt get the motor into forward gear. Had some in reverse but nothing forward.

I imported to the boat and motor to Australia. Am a little worried about being covered.


Any help would be great.

remove the shift link from the slide, try it manually.
the prop OR drive shaft MUST be turning when you shift or DAMAGE may occur.
