8 hp outboard

my 8 hp outboard stopped working. there was a clicking sound, the power up & down button stopped responding also. will not start. clicking sound now nothing. I check batteries they are fully charged. electric strater plus power up tilt. help

Carefully remove, clean, polish and tighten all electrical connections and battery cable connections. The humid marine environment can cause corrosion on connections that are not obvious or visible to the eye until taken apart. A touch of grease on each connection will help keep moisture off.
