Hi Just got the new boat to me ready to go fishing and the digital speedo/Fuel guage is reading empty(flashing last bar) it is a 6Y5-83570-S6 model and after searching the posts I found that the dip switches need to be set for the correct fuel sending unit and I found and looked at said switched that read: 1=off, 2=on, 3=off, 4=on.
I grounded the white wire and the gauge read full.
I put around half a tank of gas in it to get out for the day.
I checked the sending unit for resistance and found it to be around 215 ohms then re-positioned the boat angle and the reading seemed jumpy on the meter reading the sender directly so I may need another one but the steady reading of 215 ohms should have given a non flashing last bar?
It would be very helpfull if there was a chart or settings that I could refference the dip Sw Settings I see they are refferenced here but no info or links to the settings.
Any info on these settings would be great as I hope to out tomorrow?
