I have a 2001 250 OX66 and since the beginning of the season it will intermittently drop from 4500 down to around 2000 rpm for a short period of time. I let the motor idle for a minute or two, put the hammer down and it's fine for another few miles. The motor never stalled, except for this last trip. Turns over and idles fine. The problem does not always occur or even reoccur on the same trip sometimes. Thought bad fuel, drained some water out of separator and even put a new one in, thought it fixed the problem, but no. Checked filters, all seem fine. The fact that it happens randomly and is fine for a few miles after putting around has me kind of baffled. Any input would be greatly appreciated
