Yamaha 150 spitting water from exhaust

I've got a 2008 F150TXR. At higher RPMs its spitting water from the top exhaust opening. I've been told it could be the pressure release valve. Any suggestions how to change it or am I correct this is the problem?? Thanks

* Better question ... How much water is too much coming out of the exhaust?

Also, the reason im concerned is while idling the last time I ran it an alarm was going off. Once it cooled the alarm went off.

Water out the exhaust relief holes at high speeds is normal.
